Visiting the Other Side

I have a secret. Contrary to my reputation, I do like paper too. I even dabble in paint now and then. When I was a kid I had a sticker collection that I kept in an album. It is only recently that I have been trying to specialize, more because I realize my time on earth is limited and I can't do it all. Nor do I have room for all of it. So I had to make a decision, and fabric won. Then fabric had to move aside while I first flirted with yarn, then fabric had to completely step aside while my true passion took over. Yep. I was powerless to resist.

Anyway, the point of this story is that I have made a photo canvas collage thing to hang in the bathroom. That sounds kind of like a strange place to hang something like this but it is the guest bathroom and it gives you something to look at while you're visiting :0). This project started with three 10x10 canvases that I painted with several colors of teal and green, kind of mixing it up. When it was dry I stamped lighter green in spots with this nice foam stamp I found. Then I sponged gold in spots and painted the metal words, and added the photos and buttons. Pretty easy, and I think it looks good. They are supposed to hang side by side -- they won't fit together in the post.
