It's Not Even February Yet

I finally finished the Watermelon Cardigan. I hate sewing up sweaters. Just for the record. I think I'm really lousy at it. I probably need to work on that, but I another sweater is not really on the horizon for awhile.

It fits Grace, but it is big enough to last through next year too. I decided to go ahead with a tie in front instead of the zipper. I was anxious to finish it and the zipper was at Joanns and I wasn't, so I can always put it in later if would end up being better.

The Watermelon Sweater is adorable!
I always feel inadequate at finishing too.
(Your finishing technique looks perfect from here!)

Seaming up is my least favorite part of knitting. Your sweater looks so happy though! Great for these January doldrums.

The sweater looks great. Grace will look so cute in it! I'm amazed with your productivity!

It's So Cute! I like the tie, even though I acknowledge the zipper would be warmer & maybe more practical, it wouldn't be cuter. Great Job-especially getting it really done before February even started....

The picture doesn't do your watermelon sweater justice. When you see it up close it is beautiful. The colors are gorgeous and it is so soft and cozy. You did a beautiful job. I love it and Grace will also. Your new pattern socks are looking really good. Knitting was fun today.

Isn't is great to have a mom who makes sweet comments on your blog? Even after being my driver all day. It doesn't get any better.
